Most Expensive One Piece Cards (2026): Record Sales, Top Chase Cards, and Japanese Prices

Bandai launched the One Piece Card Game in Japan in July 2022, followed by the English-language version in December 2022. If a record-breaking sale caught your eye, you probably want to know which card sits at the top and what the cards you can pull from packs are worth today.

A Luffy championship trophy card sold for $713,700 in August 2026, the highest publicly reported price for a One Piece card. Among pack cards, the highest TCGplayer Market Price we found on October 22, 2026, was $13,000.00. Copies of the same card can command widely different prices depending on their language and whether they’re ungraded or graded PSA 10. All TCGplayer Market Prices and Japanese shop listings below were checked on October 22, 2026, while past auction results and three-month PSA 10 averages are labeled separately.

What Is the Most Expensive One Piece Card Ever Sold? The $713,700 Luffy Trophy Card

The 2024 Chinese Year One World Championship 1st Place Monkey D. Luffy Trophy Card holds the record for the highest publicly documented One Piece card sale. This framed trophy card sold through Goldin in August 2026 for a total of $713,700, and the winning bid was $585,000. Goldin announced it on X as the all-time highest public sale for any One Piece card. According to the listing, it is the only copy ever awarded and is stamped “Winner”.

Private deals are not part of that record, so treat $713,700 as the top public price rather than the final word on the most expensive One Piece card in the world. Another notable sale was the 2024 Korean serialized top-prize card, ST01-001 Monkey D. Luffy (001/077), which sold through Goldin for $440,420 in May 2026.

Both were tournament-exclusive prize cards, meaning neither could be pulled from a booster pack. The table below lists the two sales, and the next section covers cards you can pull.

Most Expensive Cards You Can Pull in the One Piece Card Game: Our October 2026 Price Check

Japanese Shanks OP01-120 manga-art parallel card in a top loader

Among cards you can pull, the most expensive one we found is OP05-119 Monkey.D.Luffy (SP) (Gold) from A Fist of Divine Speed, with a $13,000.00 Market Price on TCGplayer. Second place goes to OP13-118 Monkey.D.Luffy (Red Super Alternate Art) from Carrying On His Will at $7,500.00. Third is OP17-118 Rocks.D.Xebec (Super Alternate Art) from The World’s Strongest Warriors (OP-17), with a Market Price of $6,100.00.

Unlike the tournament-exclusive prizes above, these cards can be pulled from booster sets such as A Fist of Divine Speed, Carrying On His Will, The World’s Strongest Warriors, and Romance Dawn. Luffy cards account for five of the eight entries in our ranking, all variants of OP05-119 or OP13-118. That makes Luffy the most represented character among the most valuable One Piece cards we checked. Some cards, such as OP13-119 Portgas.D.Ace (Red Super Alternate Art), had no Market Price on TCGplayer, so they are not in the table.

We reviewed high-value cards identified by TCGplayer and other price guides, then recorded the TCGplayer Market Price for each English-language version as of October 22, 2026. TCGplayer calculates its Market Price using recent completed sales. Cards without a Market Price are not included, so this is not a complete ranking of every card.

Rank Among Cards We Checked Card Card Number Version Set TCGplayer Market Price
1 Monkey.D.Luffy OP05-119 SP (Gold) A Fist of Divine Speed $13,000.00
2 Monkey.D.Luffy OP13-118 Red Super Alternate Art Carrying On His Will $7,500.00
3 Rocks.D.Xebec OP17-118 Super Alternate Art The World’s Strongest Warriors $6,100.00
4 Monkey.D.Luffy OP05-119 SP A Fist of Divine Speed $5,749.97
5 Monkey.D.Luffy OP05-119 Manga Premium Booster -The Best- $5,000.00
6 Sabo OP13-120 Red Super Alternate Art Carrying On His Will $4,800.00
7 Shanks OP01-120 Parallel (Manga) (Alternate Art) Romance Dawn $3,998.74
8 Monkey.D.Luffy OP13-118 Super Alternate Art Carrying On His Will $2,208.62

Raw vs. PSA 10: How Grading Changes the Most Expensive One Piece Card Prices

PSA 10 Japanese Crocodile Championship 26-27 Top Prize card in a PSA slab

Cards graded PSA 10 can sell for far more than ungraded copies of the same card. According to Card Ladder, PSA 10 copies of the English-language OP13-118 Luffy Red Manga Alternate Art recorded 15 sales between July 22 and October 22, 2026, at an average price of about $31,440. TCGplayer lists the corresponding version as “Red Super Alternate Art,” with a Market Price of $7,500.00 for ungraded copies. That puts the PSA 10 average at about four times the ungraded Market Price.

Card Raw (TCGplayer Market Price) PSA 10 (Three-Month Average on Card Ladder) PSA 10 Sales in Three Months
OP13-118 Monkey.D.Luffy Red Super Alternate Art (Red Manga Alternate Art) $7,500.00 $31,440 15
OP05-119 Monkey.D.Luffy Manga Alternate Art (Awakening of the New Era) No Market Price $16,290 38

Raw means the card has not been graded, and the two price columns come from different sources. Raw prices here are TCGplayer Market Prices, while PSA 10 prices are three-month sale averages on Card Ladder. Our PSA card guide explains what PSA 10 (Gem Mint) means and how to read the other grades.

Other grading companies use their own grading scales, and One Piece cards also sell in grades such as BGS 10. Always check both the grading company and the assigned grade. Look at both the average price and the number of sales over the same period. An average based on only a few transactions can be skewed by unusually high or low sales.

Most Expensive One Piece Cards in Japanese vs. English: Graded Sales, Shop Prices, and Names

PSA 10 Japanese Monkey D. Luffy OP13-118 Red Manga Alternate Art in a PSA slab

For the one card we could compare across languages in PSA 10, English copies sold for an average of about 2.4 times as much as Japanese copies. Between July 22 and October 22, 2026, English OP05-119 Manga Alternate Art copies in PSA 10 averaged about $16,290 over 38 sales, while Japanese copies averaged $6,926.49 over 16 sales on Card Ladder. This was the only card for which we could find comparable PSA 10 averages for both English and Japanese copies from the same source, so we can’t assume the same ratio applies to other cards.

Card English PSA 10 (Three-Month Average) Japanese PSA 10 (Three-Month Average) English PSA 10 Sales Japanese PSA 10 Sales
OP05-119 Monkey.D.Luffy Manga Alternate Art $16,290 $6,926.49 38 16

The same special versions go by different names depending on where you look. Bandai’s English site calls special parallel cards Super Parallel, and our One Piece feature page lists manga-style versions as “Manga-art super-parallel” and “Comic-art parallel”. Collectors often say Manga Rare, but that name does not appear on Bandai’s pages.

At Yuyu-tei, a Japanese card shop, the OP13-118 Super Alternate Art is listed as スーパーパラレル (Super Parallel), and the red version as レッドスーパーパラレル (Red Super Parallel). The gold OP05-119 SP appears as 金パラレル (Gold Parallel), and OP17-118 as 海賊団スーパーパラレル (Pirate Crew Super Parallel). Because several variants can share the same card number and character name, search using both the card number and the Japanese variant name, then check the artwork in the listing photos.

For reference, here are Yuyu-tei’s yen prices on October 22, 2026. Every card in the table was sold out, so these are shop listing prices, not sale prices. The USD column uses MUFG Bank’s mid rate of 158.24 yen per dollar.

Card English Name (TCGplayer) Name at Japanese Shops Japanese Shop Listing Price (Sold Out) Approx. Price (USD)
OP05-119 Monkey.D.Luffy (SP) (Gold) 金パラレル ¥1,280,000 about $8,089
OP13-118 Monkey.D.Luffy (Red Super Alternate Art) レッドスーパーパラレル ¥1,280,000 about $8,089
OP17-118 Rocks.D.Xebec (Super Alternate Art) 海賊団スーパーパラレル ¥398,000 about $2,515
OP13-120 Sabo (Red Super Alternate Art) レッドスーパーパラレル ¥298,000 about $1,883
OP13-118 Monkey.D.Luffy (Super Alternate Art) スーパーパラレル ¥198,000 about $1,251

Most of these Japanese shop listings are priced below the English-language TCGplayer Market Prices shown earlier. However, the Japanese listing for the OP13-118 Red Super Alternate Art is about $8,089, compared with an English Market Price of $7,500.00. These figures use different pricing methods, so treat them as a rough reference rather than a direct comparison of completed sales.

Through Neokyo, you can search popular Japanese marketplaces such as Mercari, Rakuma, and JDirectItems Auction, then consolidate purchases from multiple stores into a single shipment. Use the card number and the Japanese version name together as your search terms.

Why One Piece Cards Get So Expensive: Luffy, Manga Art, and One-of-a-Kind Prize Cards

PSA 10 Japanese Gol D. Roger OP09-118 Gold Manga Alternate Art

Three separate factors push One Piece card prices up, and a card does not need all three to get expensive. The first is one-of-a-kind or serial-numbered prizes. Both of the highest-selling cards were tournament prizes: a trophy card that was the only copy ever awarded and a serialized card numbered 001/077.

Second, special variants can be worth far more than standard printings of the same card. The standard OP13-118 Secret Rare has a $24.00 Market Price, while its Red Super Alternate Art sits at $7,500.00. Shanks’s OP01-120 manga version from Romance Dawn, with a Market Price of $3,998.74, is another special variant in our price table. The Gold Manga Alternate Art Roger pictured above is another example of a premium variant.

The third factor is Luffy’s popularity. Goldin’s listing for the record-setting card highlights how Luffy cards have repeatedly commanded some of the highest prices at auction. Five of the eight pack cards in our price table are Luffy cards, and the overall popularity of One Piece adds to collector demand as well.

Prices Change Over Time: Compare the Same Version and Sale Dates

Japanese Roronoa Zoro OP06-118 foil alternate-art card

One Piece card prices fluctuate, so always check when a quoted price was recorded. Over the same three months covered above, PSA 10 copies of the English OP13-118 Red Manga Alternate Art sold for about $29,000 to $37,920, and the card’s value fell 13.07% from the start of that period. Card Ladder’s One Piece index dropped 12.92% over the same three months.

Recent completed sales are generally a better indicator of what buyers are paying than active listing prices. The number of copies for sale, the number of buyers, and each card’s condition and grade all shape what the next sale brings. TCGplayer’s Market Price can change as new sales are recorded, so make sure you’re comparing prices from the same period.

The set matters too. OP01-120 Shanks in its manga version from Romance Dawn has a $3,998.74 Market Price, while the Premium Booster -The Best- version of the same card shows $1,221.56. For OP05-119, TCGplayer shows a $5,000.00 Market Price for the Premium Booster -The Best- manga version but none for the original Awakening of the New Era version. If you skip the set name, you may end up reading the price of a different version.

Match these three details before comparing prices:

  • The sale date, since prices can change from month to month.
  • The version and set, since multiple variants can share the same card number.
  • Whether the card is raw or graded, including the grading company and grade if applicable.

FAQ About the Most Expensive One Piece Cards

English Portgas.D.Ace OP08-052 One Piece card with foil artwork

Here are short answers to two common questions about rare and valuable One Piece cards.

  • What Is the Rarest One Piece Card?
  • Which One Piece Cards Are Worth a Lot of Money?

What Is the Rarest One Piece Card?

One-of-a-kind tournament prize cards are among the rarest One Piece cards, including the championship Luffy trophy card discussed earlier. Rarity alone does not set the price, though. Even among Red Super Alternate Art cards from Carrying On His Will, prices vary widely: Luffy has a Market Price of $7,500.00, compared with $4,800.00 for Sabo.

Which One Piece Cards Are Worth a Lot of Money?

Among the pack cards we checked, premium variants, including manga-art, red, gold, and SP versions, had the highest prices, while the two tournament-exclusive prize cards sold for far more. If you are wondering how much a rare One Piece card costs, OP13-118 Luffy shows the range well. The standard Secret Rare is $24.00, the Parallel is $59.76, the Wanted Poster is $321.45, the Super Alternate Art is $2,208.62, and the Red Super Alternate Art is $7,500.00.

Here’s how the cards we checked break down by Market Price as of October 22, 2026. Actual asking prices can differ from these figures:

  • Under $100, the OP13-118 Parallel has a $59.76 Market Price.
  • In the few-hundred-dollar range, the OP13-118 Wanted Poster has a $321.45 Market Price.
  • Between $1,000 and $2,500, examples include the Premium Booster -The Best- manga Shanks at $1,221.56 and the OP13-118 Super Alternate Art at $2,208.62.
  • Above $4,000, examples include high-end cards such as the OP13-120 Sabo Red Super Alternate Art, with a Market Price of $4,800.00.

The two tournament prizes above sold for $713,700 and $440,420, dozens of times the top pack card’s Market Price. The budget ranges above reflect Market Prices on October 22, 2026, not a forecast of where prices will go.

How to Check High-Value One Piece Cards Before You Buy From Japan

PSA 10 Yamato Championship Event Pack card with its PSA label and cert number

Similar-looking variants can make high-value One Piece cards easy to mix up. Before buying from Japan, work through these five checks:

  1. Match the card number and version name. Look for Japanese variant names such as スーパーパラレル or レッドスーパーパラレル in the listing title. Then verify the card number shown in the photos, since multiple variants can share the same number.
  2. Compare the photos with a product image of the same version. Don’t rely on the listing title alone. Compare the card’s artwork, background, and foil finish with reference images of the same variant on TCGplayer or a Japanese card shop’s website.
  3. Compare prices for the same version, set, and grade. If you’re evaluating a PSA 10 copy, don’t compare its price with ungraded copies or printings from other sets.
  4. Look up the PSA cert number and check the label against the card. Enter the number on PSA’s Cert Verification page, but keep in mind that PSA says verification does not remove all risk, since fake labels with real cert numbers occasionally appear. Make sure the label’s number, card name, and version match the card in the slab.
  5. Compare several listings before you decide. Through Neokyo, you can search Mercari, Rakuma, JDirectItems Auction, and other Japanese stores, so you can weigh a few options instead of rushing into the first one.
