Aura Seeker Card List, Release Date & How to Buy

Aura Seeker (ハドウシーカー), the new expansion for the Pokémon Card Game MEGA series, goes on sale in Japan on November 27, 2026. A pack holds 5 cards and costs ¥200 including tax. The set code is M7. The headline card is Mega Lucario Zex.
This article brings together the cards shown on the official site and how to find the Japanese version. More cards are still being revealed, so check the official site as well once the release gets closer.
The English version does not seem to have been officially announced yet. Media outside Japan report a February 2027 release. If you want Mega Lucario Zex early, the Japanese version comes out first and is the quicker route.
Information in this article is as of October 31, 2026.
Cards revealed so far (as of October 31, 2026)
There are 78 numbered cards. The total card count and the numbers above 078 — the so-called chase cards — have not been revealed. The 20 cards revealed so far are listed in number order. Rarity is the symbol in the bottom left of the card. Pokémon names here use the official English names; cards, Abilities and attacks with no English release yet are given as the romanized Japanese name or as a translation of it.

The three headline Mega cards carry the Mega Evolution ex rule: when one is knocked out, your opponent takes 3 prize cards. Sigilyph ex carries the ex rule, for 2 prize cards.
Basic Energy and the following four cards are not in this pack, so you will need to get them separately if you want to use them.
- Boss’s Orders
- Mitsuru no Omoiyari (Wally’s Compassion)
- Gurou Kusa Energy (Grow Grass Energy)
- Katsuryoku no Mori (Forest of Vitality)
Five evolution lines are complete in the set.
- Lucario: Riolu → Mega Lucario Zex
- Garchomp: Gible → Gabite → Mega Garchomp Zex
- Flygon: Trapinch → Vibrava → Flygon
- Pawmot: Pawmi → Pawmo → Pawmot
- Revavroom: Varoom → Revavroom
Cards to watch
The three cards the official site lists as new cards to watch are the same three headliners. All of them are Mega Evolution Pokémon with a “Z” in the name. These Z Mega Evolutions are a different form from the earlier ones. They appeared in 「M次元ラッシュ」(M Jigen Rush) in the game Pokémon LEGENDS: Z-A.
Mega Lucario Zex (057/078, RR)
A Steel-type Stage 1 Pokémon with 330 HP that evolves from Riolu. Its Ability, Hadou Seeker (ハドウシーカー), has the same name as the set. While this Pokémon is in the Active Spot, once during your turn you can put a Supporter card from your deck into your hand. Its attack, Dancing Fist (ダンシングフィスト), costs 2 Steel Energy for 120 damage, plus 120 more if the opponent’s Pokémon is a Pokémon ex.
A Supporter that pairs well with it is Korunni no Honki (075/078). For each prize card your opponent has taken, your Mega Evolution ex Pokémon’s attacks do 20 more damage that turn. You draw it with the Ability and use it straight away.
Mega Garchomp Zex (067/078, RR)
A Dragon-type Stage 2 Pokémon with 360 HP. Its attack Drago Avenger (ドラゴアベンジャー) does 30 damage for each Dragon Pokémon in your discard pile. Filling the discard pile is the key, and Vibrava (063/078) from the same pack does that job. Its other attack, Sonic Edge (ソニックエッジ), does 240 damage and ignores any effects on the opponent.
Mega Absol Zex (030/078, RR)
A Psychic-type Basic Pokémon with 270 HP, so it can act right away without evolving. Its attack Bloody Fear (ブラッディフィアー) does 160 damage. On top of that, during your opponent’s next turn they cannot attach Special Energy from their hand and cannot play a Stadium.
A counter card is in the same pack. The Ability Mega Protector (メガプロテクター) on Sigilyph ex (031/078) means it takes no attack damage from your opponent’s Mega Evolution ex Pokémon.
How to buy the Japanese version
Before release: pre-orders and lottery sales
Pokémon Center Online holds lottery sales for boxes. Who can enter and the entry period are posted on that site. To find out whether a lottery entry can be requested as a proxy purchase, check Neokyo’s information pages.
Pre-order listings on flea-market apps are still few, and no useful reference prices have appeared. More will show up as the release date approaches, so try these search terms.
- 「ハドウシーカー BOX」(Hadou Seeker BOX): listings for whole boxes
- 「ハドウシーカー BOX 予約」(Hadou Seeker BOX yoyaku): pre-orders before release
- 「ハドウシーカー シュリンク付き」(Hadou Seeker shrink-wrapped): sealed boxes that still have the maker’s clear film
- 「ハドウシーカー パック」(Hadou Seeker pack): single packs
After release: finding boxes, packs and singles
From the release date of November 27, 2026, boxes, packs and single cards will line up on Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions and similar sites. For singles, adding the card number to the name makes the search easier to narrow.
- 「メガルカリオZex」and 「メガルカリオZex 057」(Mega Lucario Zex): the standard RR version
- 「メガガブリアスZex」and 「メガアブソルZex」(Mega Garchomp Zex, Mega Absol Zex): the other two cards to watch
- 「コルニの本気」(Korunni no Honki): the Supporter you combine with Mega Lucario Zex
For cards numbered above 078, search using the official rarity wording once it is published.
For a sealed box, check the photos to see whether the shrink wrap is there. A box without it may have had its contents swapped. Prices move day to day with the exchange rate and the listing, so look at the date you checked together with the seller.
Buying through Neokyo
Neokyo is a proxy buying service. It buys items in Japan on behalf of customers outside Japan and sends them abroad together. You can buy Aura Seeker boxes, packs and single cards listed on Mercari, Yahoo! Auctions and other sites.
- Enter a Japanese search term in Neokyo’s search box (for example 「ハドウシーカー BOX」) to find listings
- Check the listing description and photos, then request the purchase
- Once the item reaches the warehouse, choose whether to combine it with other items and request international shipping
Cards bought from different sellers can be sent together in one parcel from the warehouse, which helps keep shipping costs down.
How to buy other sets in the same MEGA series is covered in our Storm Emeralda article and our Delta Reign article.
How this relates to the English version
The English version does not seem to have been officially announced yet. PokeBeach, a media outlet outside Japan, reports that the English set will be called Flowing Fists, releasing on February 5, 2027, with prerelease events from January 23 to 31 (article dated October 20, 2026). According to the same article, it is a set based on Japan’s Aura Seeker, and the name is a nod to 2014’s XY: Furious Fists, which had M Lucario ex as its headline card. It is not known whether the contents match the Japanese version, and because this comes before any official announcement, the dates and names could still change.
FAQ
Can Japanese cards be used in official tournaments outside Japan?
Generally, no. The TCG Tournament Handbook from Play! Pokémon, the body that runs official tournaments outside Japan, sets the languages allowed in official play by region, and Japanese is not included for any region. Japanese cards have different backs, so they are treated as marked cards.
The exception is big events such as the World Championships, International Championships and Regionals. There, cards in English plus any language allowed in the player’s country of residence can be used. At store events and leagues it is up to the organiser. If you have an event coming up, check with the organiser in advance.
For whether non-Japanese versions can be used at tournaments inside Japan, we could not find anything on the official rules pages. If you play in Japan, check the information for each event.
Can you play if you cannot read Japanese?
Yes, you can. HP, attacks, damage and Weakness sit in the same places whatever the language, so you can play as long as you know what the cards do. Until the English version arrives, the card images on the official site and English translations from media outside Japan are what you have to work with. Official tournaments have the limits described above, so these cards suit playing at home and collecting.
